The Audi 1.8T engine has proven to be one of the most versatile and durable engines in the world. In stock form it has instant torque and throttle response that make it a blast to drive but horsepower quickly tapers off at higher RPM. For years the solution to making more horsepower has been to install a large turbocharger capable of such numbers. However, the instant response that make the 1.8T such an enjoyable motor are always lost along the way. What is an owner to do when they want big power, instant throttle response and early spool? Enter the RAI Motorsport GTX Turbo System.

The 1.8T GTX system was designed for those who want the best of both worlds. We set out to design a turbo kit that retained the early onset of boost but had the potential for over 450hp. The back bone of this turbo system is the new GTX turbo from Garrett. Coming in two different sizes (2863 and 2867), it is one of the most advanced turbos available today. Featuring a billet compressor wheel and dual ball bearing center cartridge the GTX turbo is capable of up to 20% more power than the existing GT turbo.

Designed and manufactured in house by our team of engineers and fabricators, the supporting components to the GTX kit are absolutely bullet proof. This kit includes everything you need to turn your 1.8T engine into a 400hp fire breathing monster. Every nut, washer and clamp you need is included.

Manifold:

Our manifold is a hand built work of art. It is engineered to produce early spool that delivers linear power while capable of over 400whp. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty against cracking.

Downpipe:

Our downpipe is designed to replace the stock catalytic convertor. It will mate up to any aftermarket exhaust that retains the stock location of the cat-back exhaust. It uses true radius mandrel bends and features 3 O2 bungs.

Intake:

The intake system is designed for maximum airflow. It designed to use the stock MAF housing and it includes a high flow re-usable air filter. It is fully compatible with our Diverter kit. 


Diverter Kit:

The diverter kit features the new Synchronic Diverter from Synapse Engineering. It is the fastest acting and most reliable diverter valve on the market today. The kit is fully adjustable for those running a MAF who need to re-circulate the charge air back into the intake.






Line Kit:

Our all inclusive line kit features stainless steel braided lines and AN compression fittings. All factory ports are retained and no modification is required. All gaskets and O-rings are included.

FMIC Pressure Pipe Kit

Our pressure pipe kit is designed to allow you to mate the GTX turbo to your front mount intercooler. It uses silicone re-enforced bends and bead rolled aluminum joiners.
