FSI/TSI Intake Valve Carbon Build Up Prevention/Service

$150

This service is intended to prevent the buildup of carbon deposits on the intake valves of your FSI/TSI engine. This service is not intended for removing large amounts of previously deposited carbon buildup on the intake valves, but rather for preventing this large buildup from ever occurring. Our R&D department has thoroughly and carefully tested this procedure and it has proven its efficiency. If you have not yet had your FSI/TSI intake valves cleaned, we highly recommend an initial cleaning with annual treatments every 15K. With this service you will receive before and after photos/video from our borescope to see how the service is actually working.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the carbon build up problem in the FSI/TSI engine, the concept is simple. FSI technology works by relocating the fuel injectors from the intake manifold, and positioning them to spray directly into the combustion chamber. In turn, the intake valves are no longer kept clean by the spray of your fuel injectors. This results in a buildup of carbon, on the intake valves, at a very rapid rate. During our prevention service testing we found that after hand cleaning valves that had 42k on them, there was an average of 7 wheel horsepower increase throughout the power band, as well as improved driveability and fuel mileage. We treated several of our test cars and the results have proved that this prevention service works wonders.

Dyno Services

At RAI Motorsport we own a Mustang Dynamometer AWD-500 series. We purchased this machine after spending countless months researching and comparing the differences between all dynamometers on the market today. And after speaking with several "mobile tuners", it became apparent that the Mustang Dynamometer is preferred over all others. The strength of the MD-AWD-500 Series is in its ability to test both axles of the vehicle under the same imposed load; while at the same time synchronizing front and rear wheel speed. With a wheelbase range of 88" to 118" and a maximum track width of 80", the MD-AWD-500 Series has the capability of testing any AWD or 2WD car on the road today.
